Although a computer mouse wheel helps you to scroll through an application window, it only functions on the foreground window which is the application you are currently working on. If you want to scroll through an application in the background, you have to click on it first. This is an application that can help you solve this problem, especially when working on multiple windows at the same time.
The application features two configuration options: “Bring the window to the front (with wheel)” and “Just forwarding the Wheel command”. The first one which is the default option switches to the window under your mouse cursor and scrolls it. The second option only scrolls the window under your mouse cursor without having to initially bring it to the foreground.
You are provided with checkboxes on the user interface in order to enable or disable the application and select or deselect “Run on Startup” option.
This lightweight and portable utility allows you to scroll through non-active windows. All you need to do is move your mouse cursor over the non-active window and spin the wheel. Overall, the tool makes it easier to work on multiple active windows and switch between them.
