It is a small executable that runs on a computer without the need for routine installation. After double-clicking, it opens up a minimalistic interface that allows the user to start testing the SSD drive immediately. After clicking the start button, the application perform “4K”, “4K-64Thrd” and Access Time tests on the SSD and presents an SSD score at completion.
The 4k tests analyze the read and write capabilities of randomly-chosen 4k blocks, and the Seq test evaluates how fast the SSD can read a 1-gigabyte file. The program gives you an insight into the capabilities of your SSD drive and can be useful in streamlining superior SSD drive models.
