ASUS laptops come with detachable keyboards making them not only portable but handy. Like with every good thing, there is a flip side to this. Not all of them have an ON and OFF button on the screen for controlling the built-in WLAN and Bluetooth that comes with the installation of Windows.
Good as a security measure
You can restrict the functionality to prevent external attempts to access your network. Controlling of Bluetooth and/or WLAN is necessary and lack of doing so may cause invasion into your space. Intruders are always lurking looking for open spaces. If your WLAN is not protected by some form of security or your Bluetooth is open, content from or to your space may be copied or transferred.
It works by providing an on-screen interface that indicates quite conspicuously the ON/OFF status. Touching the specified button, the Bluetooth or WLAN ON or OFF mode is controlled.
It runs on all Windows versions and is available in English and other popular languages. It is therefore very essential to have a control button to ensure you are ON only when necessary.
ASUS Wireless Console is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in wifi / bluetooth category and is available to all software users as a free download.
