The keyboard is arguably the most important computing input device of all time. Besides its native use for typing, the keyboard also has special keys and key combinations that are useful for various computing tasks. In many systems, the keys are used to control vital hardware components such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Screen display, multimedia, and many more. This application presents the user with powerful functions for customizing the keyboard to support the Indian and Bangladesh character set. The program has been in development for several years and continues to add features requested by its user base. With this program, the user can transform the standard 101 keys of the US/UK keyboard into any of the several layouts used in India.
This program works out of the box without the need to install any fonts on the computer. The required fonts will be provided by the operating system. The program supports languages such as Avro Easy, Probhat, Munir Optima, Bornona, and Jatya. After completing the installation, the program places a floating toolbar on the upper part of the screen. The toolbar contains several utilities that allow the user to customize the keys as required. It even allows the user to activate an onscreen keyboard that displays Bangla Characters.
