Students need a platform in which they can test and run debugging functions without compromising in the initial setup of the application. Cisco Packet Trace is one such tool which gives an opportunity for learners to carry out simulation exercises with no limitations.

On the interface, you will have a platform for the physical component of the tool such as a virtual classroom complete with a board for the function. Basically, it is a networking platform. Although limited to Networking Academy staff as a freeware any other person will have to use the subscribed version.

You can teach and give instructions just the same way you can do it in a normal class setup. It is a simple download whose installation process is also simple and clear. Moreover, you can as well run the setup files in its system files to complete the download process.

It works with major protocol clients which includeDHCP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, Telnet among others. Other functions include visualization assessment, authoring, and collaborations of all network parameters to achieve the same. This is one toolkit which you can use to achieve amny other functions when working on a network.

Cisco Packet Tracer is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network testing category and is available to all software users as a free download.
