Malware is a group of malicious applications capable of wrecking various types of havoc on computer systems. They range from viruses to malware, worms, trojans, and recently ransomware. Antivirus programs such as Comodo Antivirus and Comodo Internet Security does an excellent job of detecting these types of programs and removing them from the computer. However, it is essential to continuously update the virus signature database to enable the antivirus to detect new malware and remove them accordingly. This software is designed to help the Comodo suite of antivirus update its virus signature.
The user has the option of choosing the update that matches the installed application, i.e., Comodo Antivirus, or the Comodo Internet Security versions of the program. To import the latest signature database, click on the “?” icon and select About. From the new window that opens, choose the “Import Virus Database” button to update to virus signature database. After updating the database, the Antivirus becomes empowered to detect and remove the bleeding-edge threats on the computer.
Comodo Anti-Malware Database is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in signatures / updates category and is available to all software users as a free download.
