This is a command line tool that makes it possible to transfer and download files with URL syntax. The tool comes with support for a host of protocols including POP3, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS. It also has support for various certificates which includes HTTP form based upload, proxies, HTTP/2, cookies, user+password authentication.
Making use of the tool is simple and straightforward. Simply input the syntax on the command line terminal for the file you want to transfer or download, for example, curl ftp://www.test.com/folder/file.txt
As the file is being transferred, the tool displays the progress bar which shows the total download size, the number of bytes downloaded, the average transfer speed, time elapsed, and expected completion time.
If the file is being transferred to your computer, upon completion, the tool automatically displays the file on your screen but you can set an output location using the Output option.
