CurrPorts

View all opened ports"
A review by John

If you need to keep track of all open ports on your computer, you will need a useful and reliable tool to make that happen. There are a lot of options out there, but this might be the best for you.

This is exactly what you need and it will let you known what ports are being used by which programs on your computer. This piece of software features a very intuitive interface and it displays a list that contains all executable files that use TCP or UDP ports to communicate. The app will show you details such as remote address, process path, and process name as well.

The interface differentiates established connections with the color green and unidentified apps with the color red. This means that the interface is well organized and it will allow you to identify connections very easily. What’s more, it will allow you to close the connection or kill the process of applications that are either unrequired or unidentified.

You will also be able to create HTML reports with all the data the program collected for you and save it so you can analyze it later. The interface can also refresh automatically if you set up the time interval, and overall this app is very complete and useful!

CurrPorts is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network information category and is available to all software users as a free download.
