Add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird to encrypt and sign emails"
A review by John

Email is still the widely used form of communication by corporates and professionals despite the invention of social media platforms. Although it is prone to unauthorized access, you can still add an extension to maintain privacy and improve security. This is a tool designed for this purpose for Mozilla Thunderbird client. It does this by ensuring your emails hand an OpenPGP encryption service. This is basically an add on accessed using drag-and-drop functionality.

Encrypt your emails to make sure that the content of the emails you receive or send remains with you.

The integration of the editing features is a vibrant feature to configure various settings to accommodate personification of Email operations. You have an option to enable or disable it when receiving or sending an Email that is why it is an addon to your Email client. The other two icons on the interface include key management and OpenPGP options. The first comes in handy to configure specific keys to handle particular functions while the latter sets the behavior of other functions included on the interface.

Enigmail is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in email utilities category and is available to all software users as a free download.
