The default functions only detect files of the same file name and overwrite on permission. Do you know you can have two documents of the same content but different file names? This is the role of this application. It detects duplicate content of two files. First things first, you need to download and install the app which will automatically launch itself on the system.
Find identical files
The moment you open, a window appears to prompt you to choose the files you wish to compare. This is ideal using the file explorer supported on the app. You can open them on two tabs and the differences are highlighted in red color. If can opt to open the original file and directly make the changes, thanks to the tabbed browsing integrated on the system.
You can change the document view to either portrait or horizontal format. It is important to note that you can only compare files of the same file extension if not, it will open on a binary code mode. Since this is a text editor then it does not leave the formatting and editing operations that accompany these file formats. In case you are bored with the default settings then the configuration settings come in handy to make unlimited changes. Never store different documents of the same content when there is this app available to detect this error.
