FBReader allows you to open and view e-books in various formats including FB2, EPUB, HTML, TXT and RTF and can also read books from TAR, ZIP, GZIP and BZIP2 archives. You can build the library’s content by adding the files manually or you can set a path consisting in multiple directories where the app to look for e-books and then add them into the library automatically. The content can be organized by authors or by tags.
Moreover, when switch to reading mode one can also access the network library, perform searches by a certain title or author and download other books for free. You can also use the search function to find a particular word or paragraph inside a book.
From the Options menu you can change the color of text and background, internal/external hyperlinks and highlighted texts, choose between 90/180 degrees or a complete rotation cycle for pages, change the font style and size, adjust margins and line spacing and more.
