FeedRoller is a news ticker that can read your RSS and Atom feed subscriptions, displaying the latest headlines along the top or the bottom edge of your monitor. You can enter manually your favorite feed URLs and additionally, specify parameters like maximum items displayed per feed or maximum age of items. OPML and TXT feed lists can be imported as well.
By right clicking the system tray icon you can enable the „Do Not Disturb” mode, put rolling on pause, make the ticker always visible or hide it when using the computer. There is also an auto-hide function that is activated every time you hover your mouse over the ticker.
In terms of customization options, FeedRoller is very flexible. Allows you to set the size of summary text and the scrolling speed, adjust transparency and font size, change items colors, configure hotkeys and more.
FeedRoller is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in rss reader category and is available to all software users as a free download.
