FTP is one of the most used protocols on the internet perhaps after the HTTP protocol that opens web pages. The FTP is a protocol used to store files on an internet server and so used to download the files when the needs arise. The applications that create the server that stores the files are called FTP servers while the ones that connect with the server to retrieve files to the PC are called FTP client applications. Filezilla is perhaps the most commonly used FTP clients on earth, it is freely available for download on the internet without paying a dime.
Connecting to the FTP server is simple, the user can opt for the quick connection by adding the parameters on the quick connection window and connect to the server or can choose to make a static entry in the file manager for easy access in the feature. The app supports drop and drop gesture, the user can right click on the files and folders to access the available commands.
The installation procedure is seamless and opens into a window with multiple tabs which explored the files on the local computer and the ones on the remote FTP server. It also has an interface that shows and logs the activities of the program and another queue tab that displays the transfer queues.
