GWX Control Panel

Remove upgrade notification (Get Windows 10)"
A review by John

If you use Windows 7 or Windows 8 OS, you may have been disturbed by the “Get Windows 10” notification that comes up frequently, highlighting the quick features of the new OS. Well, here is a proven utility that allows you to disable this notification so you can work on your projects without any distractions. The utility is designed to hide GWX from your PC system tray or even remove GWX permanently from your PC. Interestingly, this program comes with an easy-to-use interface which can be easily understood by anyone.

Also, this is a portable application, and as such, it is not meant to be installed on a PC before you could run it. You can simply drop the file on the host PC and launch it immediately. Thus, your registry won’t be getting any new entry; plus, the app is lightweight and does not consume much system resources. Once you launch this app and it detects GWX on your PC, it presents you with different options to choose an action (either to hide or delete GWX). Similarly, you can still re-enable GWX in a few clicks if you wish. This app is quite flexible and intuitive to use; a handy app for Windows 7 and 8 users.

GWX Control Panel is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in system miscellaneous category and is available to all software users as a free download.
