HFSExplorer

Access the files from hard disks formatted with Mac OS"
A review by John

Throughout the years, there has been a significant decline in compatibility issues between Mac OS and Windows. Usually, you cannot access files on a formatted Mac OS drive from a Windows computer and vice versa because the two operating systems use incompatible formatting styles. If you are using Windows OS, you will require special tools like this application to read the contents of Mac-formatted drive. With this application, you can effortlessly read and extract data from your formatted-Mac drive from your Windows PC the same way you would a normal Windows drive.

The application has a simple but intuitive interface that allows users to easily access all its features. You may not find the application’s graphical user interface attractive but you will certainly find the application useful. The utility automatically detects supported hard drives connected to your computer but you may also manually select the exact HFS device you want to access. It is worth noting that the application does not support hybrid discs including CD-ROMs using ISO and HFS+ file systems.

The application is easy to use because its features are clearly displayed under the tools option, it uses file caching and has an intuitive wizard to automate the copying disk contents.

HFSExplorer is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in file management category and is available to all software users as a free download.
