Transfer IMG map files to Garmin GPS"
A review by John

GPS technology is not just for location and navigation purposes but also for mapping projects. We have an app that checks on compatibility with the Garmin GPS. How is this possible? The app supports the import function using the inbuilt file browser and once it is loaded on the interface, the configuration settings give you a detailed report including the connections. It comes with some edit functions which include erasing operations. Before you opt for this icon make sure you have a backup for your data. As part of the configurations, you are at liberty to manually input your map name and upload speed to enhance the response time.

There is a load button which also supports the import functions. Make sure you have the right settings to maximize on the speed, otherwise it may be slow not because of the app speed but your configurations. Although it lacks a help file, the functions are straightforward and interactive. The internet also comes in handy in case you are stuck in running any of the processes. It is advisable to opt for USB connections for faster transfer and connections. This is the most appropriate tool when you want to keep your map files updated.

IMG2GPS is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in maps / gps category and is available to all software users as a free download.
