Java OpenStreetMap Editor

Edit OSM data"
A review by John

You may have an offline version or an online version of a map and you feel there are some things you need to add on it to enhance its viewing. This is the moment you need this app installed on your computer to run the editing functions for you. This is an app with a relatively simple interface although it is cluttered. You must be keen on details to understand its usage. It is ideal when planning for a trip and needs information on terrain, weather patterns, and infrastructure among other important features. The major file formats supported in the app include JPG, OSM, NMEA, WMS, GPX, JOZ, and XML.

Its advantage is the fact that a point of any of the icons provides detailed information of its function. Using the drag-and-drop feature supported on the app, you can load the maps to the interface to run various functions. There are a few editing operations that can be done on the app like a copy, paste, delete, and rename among others. Including the navigation tools that you may need this should never miss in your desktop.

Java OpenStreetMap Editor is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in science category and is available to all software users as a free download.
