Scan and find ports, get security insights about your network"
A review by John

As a system administrator, if you’re in need of a reliable port scanner that allows you to check IPs and extract information from them about the system, then this software is the right tool for you. LanSpy’s interface is super user-friendly and simple. The tool comes with standard settings, so all you need to do to get started is input the IP you want to scan and then let the app do its job.

It will retrieve information concerning logged users, password policy, DNS name, global and local groups, MAC address, shared resources, opened files, network statistic and so much more. One of the great advantages is that it also allows users to export the information to a file, which is great if you want to save the information for further analysis.

This program, of course, requires access to the computer you want to scan, so it might not retrieve intel from every IP you try. The settings are customizable as well to allow advanced users to make the changes they need.

Overall, the app provides all the features you need to scan and cereate security audits for a network.

LanSpy is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network analyzer category and is available to all software users as a free download.
