Find the MAC address and related information"
A review by John

All network-enabled devices usually have a list of 12 alphanumeric characters which are paired in two and separated with a colon or a dash. The MAC address which is unique to every hardware device holds salient information about the manufacturer of a network device and a unique identification of the device itself. However, it is impossible to decipher this information by just viewing the MAC address on the surface. With this program, a user can locate information about the manufacturer of the network device.

The user can simply type in the entire MAC Address or the first six characters of the mac address to find the details about the Manufacturer of the device. The details the application presents are Company Name. Company Address and the Country of the manufacturer.

It is interesting to note that the application does not connect to the internet to get these details, it uses the internal database of Mac addresses to present the results from search queries. The application is easy to use and required minimal computing experience.

This program is a portable executable that does not require an installation procedure to run or additional DLL file. Simply download and double-click the executable file to launch the program.

MACAddressView is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network information category and is available to all software users as a free download.
