Microsoft Visual C++ 2013

Library with components for Windows OS"
A review by Andrew

Often, when you install a new program, you will see an alert “requires Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package”. This means that the program was developed used Visual Basic and contains some code that cannot be interpreted by your computer until you install this Visual C++ package.

This utility does not have a interface, you install it and forget it. It contains different libraries with code that is required by different programs to run. Is good to have it installed on your computer. From time to time, Microsoft will release different patches to add improvements to the latest version of their operating system (fix errors, improve the stability and so on).

As you can see, there are different versions with the year in their name. This is the year of the release to the public, after was tested. This tool can be uninstalled from Control Panel.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in os components category and is available to all software users as a free download.
