Have you ever loaded a music file into your player and see the cover graphics and other additional information such as track title, name of the artist, the name of the album and many more? These information has been coded into the music files in the form of metadata imported from information (NFO) files. This program is designed to help the user to create NFO files, PLS, and M3U playlists, as well as SFV/MD5 checksum files. The interface of the application is simplified to allow both novices and experts alike make use of the program easily.
The interface of the program looks like the standard windows application interface. The program allows the user to select a directory on the computer and then process the music files it contains and allows the user to edit the metadata details such as the codec, sample rate, bit rate, channel mode, encoder type, average bit rate, quality, genre, and ID3 tags. Other details that can be added include the rip date, post data, group, news server, and notes. These can then be exported as NFO files.
It is essential to note that this program does not process multiple music file extensions concurrently. In a scenario where a folder with multiple file extension is loaded, it automatically chooses the extension with the highest number of files and loads them.
Music NFO Builder is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in other audio tools category and is available to all software users as a free download.
