MusicBrainz Picard

Tag music files"
A review by John

This Python-oriented software will allow you to edit music tags in a clear cut, easy-to-understand interface. The program supports the following music formats MP3, OGG, WMA, M4A, WAV, and other popular formats. It is open-source software with support for audio CDs. Using this application, you can sort your audio files into album clusters using their metadata. Everyone who works or has worked with a music tag editor software will get to understand and use this application efficiently; it is even more comfortable to use than most tag editors out there. Plus, there is a help menu that teaches you how this program works.

To use this app, you have to load in files or folders to the interface; this action can be done by “drag & drop” method, or you can decide to use the built-in file browser. Even, the program can read and load data from audio CDs into its interface once the file(s) are of the following formats FLAC, MP3, WMA, M4A, WAV, or other popular formats. Also, this app supports the use of plugin; thus, if you wish to have more features, you can look up for the plugin and install to this program. It is also possible to remove existing ID3 tags from FLAC files using this app, and more functions are available.

MusicBrainz Picard is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in tag editors category and is available to all software users as a free download.
