The tasks related to administering computers in a network can be complicated. However, thanks to some network tools available to the network administrator, these tasks can be performed from a single computer. The user can access his network and even analyze the traffic that passes through the network interface. This program provides system administrators with a set of utilities required to run network related commands.

Some of the tools contained are the ping, traceroute, graphical ping, ping scanner, DNS tools, and WhoIs lookup. The user can provide a hostname, a domain or an IPV4 address to use the DNS function. The WhoAmI command allows the user to display the properties of the host system. The other tools available performs the following services:

  • Traceroute: Trace the different network os to a destination Ip Address.
  • Ping: Display the reply time of traffic to an IP address in addition to the latency time.
  • Graphical Ping: Uses a GUO interface to run the ping command.
  • Ping Scanner: Locate the terminals that are connected to a network interface

This program is a useful utility for any person managing a network.

NetScanTools Basic Edition is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network tools category and is available to all software users as a free download.
