This application makes use of three different scanning methods designed to achieve different objectives. The first is the normal scan which scans the Entry Point for all the signatures associated with the PE file specified by the user. The Deep mode offers a higher rate of detection because it scans the file Entry Points which contains sections. The third mode is the hardcore mode which scans the entire file for all documented signatures. The hardcore mode is more time consuming but produces a more detailed result compared to other scanning modes.
Portable Executable files also known as PE files are a special type of files in the Windows operating system that is used as executables, DLLs, and many more. This type of files is exclusive to the 32 bit and 64 bit Windows operating system. This program provides a user-friendly interface to detect cryptors, packers, and compilers found in PE files. This hypersensitive application can detect over 600 different signatures in PE files.
Besides the intuitive, user-friendly interface, the application is also bundled with a command line version of the program and documentation that helps the user get accustomed to the available commands.
