Photo enthusiasts can afford a smile with the invention of PIXresizer. It is a tool which resizes photos and further converts them to BMP, PNG or TIFF JPEG and GIF file formats. It is a simple toolkit with a standard window with plain functions. The interface supports importation using file browsing. Unfortunately, the interface does not support drag and drop option. It is possible to copy the whole file and readjust it to your desired level. The interface allows you to save the new file as well as retain the old file.
Customization settings of the interface allow you to view the layout in different modes. Additionally, it also supports cropping of images to different parts of the interface- right, left center, top or bottom. All these functions are performed in just a click of a button. It is a small sized file which occupies a small hard disk space.
Furthermore it has a help menu and tutorial to assist where a user is stuck. The help function gives a step by step process on how each function run and operate. The output quality of the image is superb; however, it takes a long time to completely resizing a large amount of images.
