The application provides you with an efficient and lightweight version of the popular BitTorrent client. This is a cross-platform free and open-source BitTorrent client, and it’s considered to be faster than other BitTorrent clients like uTorrent. It is the portable version of qBittorrent that allows you to download, create and manage torrent files. It enables you to create torrents.
The application user interface is similar to the one found on uTorrent, clean and intuitive. Displayed on the left panel is the operation status, categories, tags and trackers, and on the much larger right panel is the details of the ongoing torrent files download which includes the name, size, download percentage, status, number of seeds, number of peers, download speed and upload speed.
It allows you to download multiple files at once, set the download and upload speed and share ratio. You can also configure the default save path, select the location for incomplete torrents and choose to append .1qB extension to incomplete files.
Portable qBittorrent is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in file sharing category and is available to all software users as a free download.
