Image files are used to store big or bootable programs like they are on a CD-ROM. An open-source tool that allows you to work with disc images such as ISO, IMG, and others by just clicking on them. Once you install it, just double-click any .iso, .cue, .raw, or .img image, and it will mount automatically. Then the DVD will autorun. The program is meant to work as an integrated part of Windows, and it does. There’s an available Add/Remove programs entry, so if it causes you any problems you can easily remove it. But it never did any harm to my system, and I run modest machines most of the time.
The mounted images are listed by drive and image location. Uninstalling any of the drives can be done with just a push of a button. Similarly, unmounting any of the discs only requires the push of a button. It is also possible to unmount all the discs at once. This small app is very easy to handle and shouldn’t be difficult to work with, regardless of how much experience you have with similar tools. Since the app is completely portable, it doesn’t need to be installed and can be launched from any type of removable device.
