The PortQry PortQry Command Line Port Scanner is one of the Microsoft tools and it offers the information of UDP and TCP port. It is locally listening that service is providing the IP service on the system. It offers the GUI for the portqry.exe tool command-line that is installed by the latest version of window operating system.

Use the Portqry remotely

First, you should download this tool at the website of Microsoft download. After completing the download, execute the tool to uncompress the files which you want to perform the command. It is small executable. This tool can scan the remote system but it is unsophisticated than the other port scanners. The switch of -n specifies the IP address and switch of -e specifies the endpoint, port number or destination port.

Different way to report the status of IP or TCP

There is three-way is available to report the IP or TCP status such as listening, not listening and filtered. You should select the listening on the port on the desktop and the portqry.exe receives the messages from the port. In the filtered process, the port on the device that the user should select is filtered. The tool did not receive the message from the port.

PortQry is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network analyzer category and is available to all software users as a free download.
