Program for satellite tracking"
A review by John

Here comes a typical tracking software. What are you going to track? With this software, you will observe and track many satellites in real-time. Actually, this app is easy to use; the straightforward interface presents you with the various positions of artificial satellites in real-time; there is also a manual mode. Plus, this app predicts Iridium flares, satellite passes, and other similar calculations. The multiple flexible parameters available on this app helps to make the information you get to be in details.

While viewing the positions of satellites in their different frames from this app, you’ll also see the osculating elements (Keplerian elements). This application utilizes TLE to calculate where is the exact position of a satellite in real-time. Other predictions which this app is capable of doing is powered by this tech – TLE.  Also, this app displays the satellites you see in a world map view or in a sky map view; both views are okay and easy to read.

The flares that are generated by satellites are calculated by the Iridium constellation. This handy utility calculates satellite passes by indicating the start & end date, Sun or minimal elevation, location, and other details. You can export data obtained from this software as a TXT file.

PreviSat is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in science category and is available to all software users as a free download.
