Proteus

Simulate electronic circuits"
A review by John

If you work with electronic circuits and microprocessors, then you’ve definitely heard of this app. It’s not for nothing this is one of the most well-known electronic design programs on the market. Most of that success is due to the fact that it was made by engineering students and electronics experts to offer users advanced simulations to carry out their work.

This piece of software is the complete package and it allows users to create all the PCBs or printed circuit boards you’d like with over 800 microprocessors so you can create a simulation on how they would function in real life. It’s one of the most popular boards at the moment because it provides the full experience and it allows you to use all the tools you need to run a successful simulation to further your work.

The tool includes many features, including the addition of two apps that will serve as the perfect complement: Intelligent Schematic Input System (ISIS), which allows you to design the circuit, among other things, and Advanced Routing and Editing Software, which allows you to design PCBs, and more. Overall, this is the tool to have if you want to further your engineering efforts!

It is part from science category and is licensed as shareware for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period will end. The Proteus demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions compared with the full version.
