ProxMate for Chrome

Use proxy servers to change the IP"
A review by John

There are some websites on the Internet which are restricted in your zone or country, therefore you cannot access their contents. This can be frustrating if the website contains an important information or file you want. To circumvent this restriction, you can employ the use of this tool.

This application is an extension for Google Chrome which can help you access websites that are blocked in your zone or country. It does this by obtaining fragments of the website information from a larger server network and directs it to you.

Once installed as an extension on your browser, you can configure and set it to meet your needs. The application allows you to add your own proxies via the options menu, even though it has its own set of proxies. There’s also an option of disabling or enabling the application for different websites.

The application allows you to access websites or services that are usually blocked or restricted in most countries such as Vevo, Google Play, Pandora, Facebook, and Spotify. It also respects your privacy and does not store data of your browsing history.

It is part from chrome extensions category and is licensed as shareware for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period will end. The ProxMate for Chrome demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions compared with the full version.
