PSpice

Test and verify circuit boards"
A review by John

Circuit boards are the solid PVC that are usually inside most electronics where many of the components are attached.  The procedure of creating circuit boards are complicated, but it all starts with using an application to create the circuits. However, before the board goes into a production state, there is a need to pass through a testing process that helps check errors and ensures that no part of the product is overloaded. It is a circuit board simulator that does an excellent job of creating a virtual circuit board and analyzing its behavior.

The features of this program include the analysis and optimization of critical circuits and its components. It acquires simulation faster due to its database of over 33,000 simulation-ready analog, and mixed-signal devices. It helps maximize circuit performance and provides reliable stress and temperature analysis, as well as worst-case scenario analysis.  The application even does more than general circuit simulation, it can also handle event-driven simulation, advance convergence, checkpoint restart, and many more. This versatile tool is essential for all circuit board creators.

It is part from science category and is licensed as shareware for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period will end. The PSpice demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions compared with the full version.
