QEMU

Virtualization for various devices"
A review by John

Virtualization software is a group of applications that are used to simulate a computing environment. These class of programs is great for testing applications in the target environment without having access to the physical hardware components.

This is a processor emulator and virtualization software that enables developers to simulate a complete system. It can also simulate the accessories and launch the applications that are designed for the target processor.

The emulator can receive and interpret a wide range of commands and supports multi-disk image formats and can also access the host devices directly. The virtual machines created with this app can access the network, USP devices, and removable media such as CD Drives. The state of the virtual machine is accessible directly without using an external debugger. The user can also save and restore the state of the virtual machine.

QEMU is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in virtualization category and is available to all software users as a free download.
