Edit registry files"
A review by John

This application provides a reasonably intuitive interface for editing the registry, but we do not recommend it for the average user.

The Registry is perhaps the most critical part of the Windows system. Just as the name implies, it contains vital information about the computer units. The registry control fundamental computer processes like booting, hardware, security, appearance, applications, and many more. The interface of the registry is not for an average computer user; only power users who know exactly what they are doing can edit the registry without messing up the functions of the computer unit.

With this application, a power user can carry out registry editing tasks without extensive technical expertise. However, the user should know precisely the location in the registry and the values to change. The interface of the application consists of panels that enable the user to open registry folders and access the content along with log files. The ability to view various registry keys such as name, value, type, size and time is crucial as it allows the user to inspect existing values before making changes.

Other vital functions include the backup and restore of the registry, comparing various registry snapshots, import the Regedit command favorites and many different settings.
