The program can be used to format an USB drive or make it bootable. RMPrepUSB is not very easy to use by beginners and it has an interface full with options. If you are an advanced user or you have patience to learn it, then it offers many options.
Complex interface
The program will detect the USB drive. You can create bootable drives for Windows, MS-DOS, SysLinux. It supports all major types of filesystem: FAT16, FAT32, NTFS.
Not for beginners
The program has a help menu, although is still hard for the end user to understand fast what to do.
It displays the progress of the current operation in a command line.
RMPrepUSB is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in boot manager/disk category and is available to all software users as a free download.
