Archives are one of the most commonly used file types for transferring documents and installation files over the media. One of the most common archive files is the RAR file. Unfortunately, the Windows user cannot open RAR files by fault because it is not supported by the Windows archive system. But this application adds features into the Windows operating system that enables it to handle RAR files without the need to install another third-party archiving program.
The program does not have an application interface. To use it, right click on any RAR file and choose “Open With.” After that, navigate to the location where you saved the unrar executable and check the options that say always use this program to open this type of file. After the first use, you can just double-click on any RAR file to open and extract it.
It is portable, it can be launched from a USB device by simply clicking on the program file. This program presents the user with a simple way to support extraction of RAR files without the need to install the additional full-fledge archiving program in your computer.
