Make screen capture and annotate"
A review by John

There are various reasons for taking screenshots and one of them is to quickly communicate ideas. This tool enables you to take screenshots, annotations, shapes and sketches, so as to easily get your ideas across to people. Taking a screenshot is fast and easy, it does not require you going through multiple interfaces to get it done. There are various capture modes available and they include Previous Snapshot area, Fullscreen Snapshot, Timed Crosshair Snapshot, Window Snapshot and Camera Snapshot.

You can screen snap your entire screen or a specific section you are working on. After taking snapshots, you can edit them or emphasize different areas of the snapshots. The application makes it fast and easier to add notes, shapes and sketches, highlight certain areas, pixelate a section and place a stamp. The application also, enables you to import images or PDFs from your local storage and add annotations to them.

Once you’re done, you can share the snapshots via email, messages, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr, and you can also use it as your desktop background image.

All in all, the application makes it easier to capture, edit and export screenshots on your Mac.

Skitch for Mac is licensed as freeware for Mac OS operating system. It is in screen capture category and is available to all software users as a free download.
