A portable version for Skype"
A review by Flo

Skype is one of the applications that hanged the landscape of communication. It is one of the applications that pioneer the free Voice and Video chat over IP. Fast-forward to the present; Skype remains one of the foremost communication applications in the world today. This program is designed to allow users to launch Skype without the need for an elaborate installation. This is especially useful in a scenario where you would like to use Skype on a friend’s or public computer that does not have Skype installed already.

It is important to note that this application was not created or endorsed by Skype. The two apps are made by independent companies. To launch skype on a computer without the need to install, launch sPortable and you will be ready to do voice and video chat, send messages and call landline phones if you have a Skype subscription.

Although this application does not require installation, it is important to note that it does make use of the embedded Internet Explorer to display information and ads on your PC. Therefore, it does leave some residual cache files on your PC after using it.

sPortable (Portable Skype) is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in instant messaging category and is available to all software users as a free download.
