The action is still like in the classic version, but the remake game has many improvements. There is a new design and the characters are moving faster. The game involves going throughout a massive town securing yourself by fighting back individuals who try to attack you. Street of Rage Remake has a lot of different enemies who add up to 60 characters.

The game is centrally played in a city where you will be on the streets, restaurants, bar, an amusement park, shrine, bridge and several other places based on the previous game.
However, the player can choose in the midst of 16 characters and make his favorite choice then kick asses out there. Despite the fact that the move list of each character is not very long, the several varieties in stages as well as enemies more than make up for it. Street of Rage Remake graphics are very good as most were extracted from the original games and altered to enhance its look and animated better.
