Granted, it’s not every day that you need to calculate the Pi number with a large number of digits, but if you ever do need to do that because you work with calculations and whatnot, you will need a reliable app.
This is that app and it will allow you to do just that! The Pi number is known by pretty much everyone around the world and it’s used by all different kinds of professionals, including engineers, designers, statisticians and biochemists to do all kinds of different things.
Most calculations are done with only the first two to eight digits of the Pi number, but there’s a lot more to Pi than that. This application can calculate as much as the first 32 million digits. It does this by using the Fast Fourier Transform arithmetic and Borwein’s quadratically-convergent algorithm.
The interface is simple and it’s user-friendly. It will allow you to choose the number of digits you want to generate and the software will do the rest.
Super PI is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in education category and is available to all software users as a free download.
