Component for Eclipse IDE to edit Verilog files"
A review by John

This program presents HDL designers with an intuitive IDE for editing System Verilog. It supports highlighting of syntaxes, source and auto indent, structure display, and much more other features. Verilog is a dedicated language for describing the hardware and verifying analogs while designing electronic systems; System Verilog comes as an improved utility with more functionality. The app is quite better than any typical editor which supports Verilog. With this application, you can easily discover blocks of codes, and the Integrated Development Environment  (IDE) is based on Eclipse. You will find with an array of useful options for editing source codes.

Also, you will find the source indent to be a great feature. Thanks to the class hierarchy viewer, editing System Verilog with this app seems very easy and convenient. Getting this app to work on a PC is a bit complex as the installation method and processes are not exactly as the native method. However, you will find an installation guide on the developer’s official site which you would follow to get this app working on your computer. Apparently, this app is not meant for everyone; thus, the interface won’t look familiar to everyone unless you’re an advanced IDE user or an HDL designer.

SVEditor is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in components & libraries category and is available to all software users as a free download.
