Most windows users – especially those with smaller displays – struggle with the space on their taskbar. Each program they open or minimize takes up valuable space on the taskbar and this can quickly become a problem. TrayIt! is here to fix the problem. All you have to do to get rid of one or more things on your taskbar is to right-click the items and select “Hide Window” from the context menu.
The program creates an icon in the System Tray – where is located the clock – for each item you remove from the taskbar. You also get the option to group similar icons in the system tray. To restore a hidden window, click it on the system tray or click the Restore Window option in the program’s user interface.
TrayIt! comes with a nice little menu that lists all the running applications. You can click the Minimize button next to any of the apps to quickly send it to the tray. The software can run at startup so you don’t have to launch it manually every time you restart your computer. It works with all Windows operating systems and takes up very few resources in the process. The program comes with a small Help file that will quickly help you understand and use the various options.
Trayit! is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in enhancements category and is available to all software users as a free download.
