The gameplay is based on either fighting in a human or alien team and destroying or annihilating the enemy team. There is a wide range of melee and ballistic weapons available, tailored to the needs and structure of both teams. Aside from destroying the enemy team, you also have to completely destroy their life-source structures to win the game.
Each team is divided into two groups of personnel; the builders and warriors. The builders build bases and create expansions as the warriors gain control of sections and push back the opposing team back to their main base. Aliens are able to walk on walls and ceiling and are quite fast and agile, but they are unable to deal heavy blows on opponents with their gun. You still have to be careful when playing against them as they can sneak up and ambush you and your team.
All in all, the game is really appealing especially if you are a fan of RTS games.
