Wake-up LAN computers by sending WOL packets"
A review by John

Are you a system administrator or you in charge of a host of computers linked by a wireless network? Then you might need an application that can allow you to turn on these computers at once without having to do it one by one which can be difficult and time-consuming. This program allows you to turn on sleeping computers remotely by sending them a Wake-on-LAN packet.

You can now send one or more computers on the network a WOL packet by clicking the “Wake” button. Though these computers have to be either on standby or turned off. You can also turn a listed computer through the command-line, using its IP address, name, or MAC address.

It will scan your wired network and obtain the MAC addresses, network name, IP addresses, network adapter company, workgroup for each workstation and other information or can find. It stores this information on a file for future usage.

The application allows you to export an HTML file of the listed computers or specified ones and their details. You can also make changes to any computer on the list.

WakeMeOnLan is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in network tools category and is available to all software users as a free download.
