Most laptops come with a webcam, which allows the users to stream videos and takes pictures with the embedded camera. However, except you are using a recent version of Windows operating system, you will require a third-party application to be able to access the webcam. The Webcam viewer application comes in handy to enable you to make use of the integrated webcam of your device.
The program automatically detects the various webcams on the systems and presents the user with a drop-down menu containing all the webcams. The second drop-down menu displays different window sizes in which the application can run. The user can choose a webcam, window dimension and click on connect to start viewing the webcam.
The application displays the webcam in the window and allows the user to capture images by simply double-clicking on the capture window. The image is saved in the same folder of the Webcam viewer executable
WebcamViewer is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in webcam category and is available to all software users as a free download.
