A review by John

A service pack will install the latest improvement and fixes in order to have a better and more secure operating system. Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) is the latest service pack for both Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 which provides support for new types of hardware and includes previously released updates since Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) and security and performance improvements.

In order to obtain this update with ease, it’s usually recommended to turn on automatic updating in Windows Update in Control Panel and wait for notification from Windows Vista that the update is available for installation. But before you can install this update on your PC, you have to first of all install the Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

Before installing the update, ensure you backup your system files and applications to avoid loss of valuable data in case something goes wrong.

The update provides additional support for Bluetooth wireless devices and Blu-ray and improves local search capabilities and Wi-Fi performance. The update does not include an upgrade for the Internet Explorer which can be downloaded from Microsoft website.

The update is available for download in 64-bit and 32-bit, depending on the version of your Windows Vista

Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in os enhancements category and is available to all software users as a free download.
