Zimbra Desktop

All your email accounts in one place"
A review by John

Email forms the core of modern electronic communication.  It doesn’t come as a surprise that most people have several email addresses that they use for different purposes such as official communication, personal emails, newsletters, and many more. The procedures of managing these many emails can be complicated, and most people end up resetting their passwords severally and may be locked out of their account in some cases.

This program is an excellent application for managing your emails right from your desktop. It offers a solution to the complications associated with managing multiple email accounts.

Setting up the program is easy, the program provides the interface for the user to choose an email service ( Yahoo!, Gmail, etc) and give the details required to access the email such as the email address, passwords, and other settings such as IMAP. After the first account, the user can add additional accounts to the program in sequence. After that, the program checks and downloads emails from the accounts provided. It can be configured to monitor email messages at predefined intervals. From the application interface, the user can read emails, reply, forward, or delete messages.

Zimbra Desktop is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in email category and is available to all software users as a free download.
